The 8-ton battery electric locomotive has four working voltages: 110V, 132V, 140V and 144V. Among them, there is no difference in the parameters of 140V and 144V, while 110V, 132V and 140V have obvious data differences in speed or traction. Why do 8-ton electric locomotives have so many working voltages? Since the latter two have no difference in parameters, can they be chosen at random?
First of all, the model of the battery is determined according to the working voltage of the electric locomotive, so the corresponding battery models are 110V, 132V, 140V and 144V. The main difference between them is the output voltage and capacity. The output voltage of 140V is 30V greater than that of 110V, and the capacity is also greater than 50Ah.
The second is the difference in the structure of the battery electric locomotive. 110V and 132V use one-stage transmission, and 140V and 144V are two-stage transmission. Moreover, the load capacity of 140V is also stronger, and the wheelbase is relatively larger, and the turning radius is also required to be larger.
