On June 14, 2019, engineers from HUNAN YUTONG MINING EQUIPMENT CO., went to the mine with a batch of air brake devices to upgrade the braking mode of the mining electric locomotive.
A total of 30 sets of mining electric locomotives have been upgraded and reconstructed. During the renovation process, our engineers actively communicated with the mine engineering. And after the end of the project, technical training was given to the technical staff of the mine.
The modified mining electric locomotive can realize two functions of air brake and air horn, without changing or destroying the structure of the original electric locomotive, and without affecting all the functions of the original electric locomotive. After the transformation, the performance is excellent, and the braking effect is increased by more than 30%. Stable and reliable performance. The braking distance can be shortened from about 40 meters in the past to about 8 meters. After the air brake system is installed, it is controlled by pedal operation. And keep the original mechanical manual brake for emergency use.
