Ball mill Structures

The ball mill is composed of feeding part, discharging part, rotary part, transmission part and other main parts. The hollow shaft is made of cast steel, and the lining can be replaced. The rotary gear is processed by casting hobbing. The cylinder is inlaid with a wear-resistant liner, which has good wear resistance.

How does the Ball Mill work?

This machine is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device, driven by outer gears, two warehouses, and a lattice type ball mill. The material is spirally and evenly entered into the first chamber of the mill through the feeding hollow shaft by the feeding device. There are stepped lining boards or corrugated lining boards in the chamber, and steel balls of different specifications are installed inside. The rotation of the cylinder produces centrifugal force to bring the steel balls to a certain height. After falling down, it will hit and grind the material. Materials get coarse grind in the first warehouse, then into the second warehouse through the single-compartment. The second warehouse has flat liner and also filled with balls , then grind the material again. The powder is discharged through the unloading grate plate to complete the grinding operation.

Bearings
The main bearing adopts a large-diameter double-row self-aligning roller bearing instead of the original sliding bearing, which reduces friction and energy consumption, and the mill is easy to start. The structure of the end cover of the ordinary mill is retained, the large-diameter inlet and outlet, and the processing capacity are large.

Big Gears
The ball mill accessories adopt shifting gears, which can eliminate the undercutting phenomenon, strengthen the gears with weak bending strength, and increase the bending strength of the gear teeth by more than double.

Feeder
The feeder is divided into two types: combined feeder and drum feeder, with simple structure and separate installation. There is no inertial impact, the equipment runs smoothly, and the downtime and maintenance time of the mill is reduced, and the efficiency is improved.
